NASHVILLE CONFERENCE ON AFRICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY AND CULTURE
The Tennessee State Museum will host the Nashville Conference on African-American History and Culture on February 10. The event will bring together historians, educators, students, and others interested in African-American history and culture. nashville.gov

TEDDY BEAR CLINIC
The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is hosting a Teddy Bear Clinic on February 11. Children will be able to bring their teddy bears in for routine checkups during the event. nashvillezoo.org

CLOSED COURSE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
Music City Dream Cars will offer a closed course driving experience at Nissan Stadium on February 11. Find more information.

TWISTER AT ADVENTURE SCIENCE CENTER
On February 11, the Adventure Science Center will host Tennessee Women in Science, Technology, Engineering & Research, aka TWISTER. This is a conference for high school girls presented by Science, Technology, Engineering and Research professionals. adventuresci.org

DUELING PIANO NIGHT AT FONTANEL
Dueling Piano Night is back at Fontanel. The first show of the season will ft. Erik Blue and Teri Reid on February 10. After, you can take part in the fun on March 31, April 28, and May 26. Get tickets to the show on February 10 at: fontanel.com.

HOT CHOCOLATE 15K/5K

TENNESSEE LOVE WORKS: VALENTINE’S CHOCOLATE & BEER PAIRINGS
Tennessee Brew Works and Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co. have teamed up to offer a special day of pairing craft beer with chocolate on February 11. In addition, live music will be played. Find more information.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH IN MUSIC CITY
Nashville’s calendar in February is filled with events celebrating Black History Month. From art exhibits to musical performances, Music City is honoring the contributions of African-Americans to our society. visitmusiccity.com/blackhistorymonth

FRIST CENTER – FREE ADMISSION
The Frist Center for the Visual Arts is offering free admission until February 9. At the moment, they are showcasing the Ragnar Kjartansson: The Visitors exhibit featuring nine screens showing various musicians performing in the Rokeby Farm, a historic mansion located in New York’s Hudson River Valley. Then, on February 10, they will open Secrets of Buddhist Art: Tibet, Japan, and Korea; and Claire Morgan: Stop Me Feeling. The 10th will be the same day a group of Buddhist monks will begin constructing a mandala sand painting. NASHVILLE BALLET PRESENTS ATTITUDE
The Nashville Ballet’s Attitude will feature the music of Johnny Cash performed by Nashville’s own Sugar + The Hi-Lows. The ballet will occur at TPAC February 9-12. nashvilleballet.com

GREEN GALLERY AT TURNIP GREEN CREATIVE REUSE
Samantha Zaruba’s exhibit All My Vinyl Dreams will be on display at The Green Gallery at Turnip Green Creative Reuse starting February 11th and lasting until March 7th. Read more from the press release.

The Nashville Repertory Theatre’s next production will be Posterity which will take place February 9th through the 25th. nashvillerep.org
