We have been eager to try this next place you’re about to read about. Fifty-First Kitchen & Bar over in The Nations has received great reviews since opening. Chef Francisco Vito creates a seasonal mean featuring local, farm-to-table ingredients which highlight American favorites with Italian flare. Below is what they are offering this week, marked at $35 per person. Go check them out.

1st Course (choose one):
Salad – local lettuce, toasted almond, red onion, black currant, goat cheese, vinaigrette
Soup – toasted red pepper, shrimp, radishes, apples, dill, olive oil
Carpaccio – shaved eye of round, smoked sea salt, horseradish aioli, fried capers

2nd Course (choose one):
Steak and Sausage – smoked cippolini jam, bone marrow demi, roasted squash, broccolini
Beet Root Spaghetti – spinach, walnut bread crumbs, goat cheese curd, garlic confit, herb oil
Pan Seared Gulf Catch – cauliflower, kumquat, pea tendril, pea, and preserved lemon purée

3rd Course (choose one):
Gold Rush Apple Cobbler with caramel walnut ice cream and cardamon whipped cream
Abuelita Chocolate Pie with cayenne and chocolate ice cream
Ricotta Panna Cotta with rum cherries, coffee crumble and vanilla bean ice cream
