Guess what?! The Frist Center for the Visual Arts is offering a free day, on November 6, to celebrate their new exhibit Samurai: The Way of the Warrior. It looks amazing, too, as it features ninety objects, including armor & weapons, ranging in date from the 14th to the 19th centuries to illustrate the story of the Samurai, a warrior class from early Japanese history. Patrons to the exhibit will receive a great understanding of these warriors including their moral, cultural, and aesthetic codes. Very cool and something the whole family will love to see. Take them!
