History lovers should go to Historic Travellers Rest to experience an excellent evening of great talks, food, and bourbon on October 13 for Battlefield Bourbon Dinner. Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant will provide the meal as you sip on bourbon made from the water at Historic Travellers Rest. New York Tomes Bestselling Author Robert Hicks will be there signing “The Orphan Mother.” So will non-fiction author James McDonough signing “William Tecumseh Sherman: In the Service of My Country: A Life,” and Nashville historian Jim Kay. The last day to make a reservation is October 7. Better do it now, before it’s too late.
