East Nashville is a hosting a free festival this upcoming weekend that will pull at the heart strings of the crafter in your life. The annual East Side Fiber Festival brings together the local community to celebrate Middle Tennessee’s fiber farms and artisans. Unique activities like the Spin-tacular, Knit-a-Thon, and Fib-Art Contest will take place throughout the day. A stage will host live demonstrations related to fibers and the fiber arts. Plus, they will have vendors on site like Classic Spinner, Fringe Supply Co, Nutmeg Fibers, and more (see the full list). The exact location of this unique festival, occurring September 17, will be the Isaac Litton Alumni Center at 4500 Gallatin Pike. Don’t miss it!
