If you have not heard, one of the great Nashville songwriters, Guy Clark, passed away on May 17. He is the one who brought us songs like “Guitar,” “L.A. Freeway,” “Dublin Blues,” “Homegrown Tomatoes,” and “The Cape” to our ears. The Basement is hosting a Guy Clark Tribute Concert, on June 5, inviting a ton of great musicians together for a night to play some music created by a Nashville legend. The artists include Darrin Bradbury, Chris Kasper, Reckless Johnny, Carl Anderson, Charlie Treat, Brian Grayson, Bed de la Cour, and many more. You are invited, too, of course. Hope you can come out and keep the music alive.
