Martin Luther King Jr. Celebrations
This upcoming Monday will be Martin Luther King Jr. Day and from January 15th through the 18th Nashville has plenty of events for people to remember his legacy. This includes New Hope Foundation presents Realizing the Dream ft. Martin Luther King Jr. III and Dick Gregory at the Music City Center January 18, 5K4MLK Run/Walk at East Park Community Center January 18, Let Freedom Sing! at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center January 16-18, and more. NHL All-Star Bridgestone Winter Park
The fun continues at NHL All-Star Bridgestone Winter Park! There will be a First Responders Night on January 15, and then Sunday Skate: Preds Pride Theme on January 17. That’s not all! See the full lineup and fun at: visitmusiccity.com/nhlfanfair.

Harlem Globetrotters
You may witness the family fun of the Harlem Globetrotters at Bridgestone Arena on January 15. bridgestonearena.com

Ron White
Comedian Ron White, aka Tater Salad, will perform at TPAC on January 16. tpac.org

The Frist Center for the Visual Arts has two very exciting exhibits for guests to see at the moment. The first is Phantom Bodies: The Human Aura in Art. The second, Anthology: Visual Narratives from Nashville’s Print Community. Then, they will have three new exhibits opening soon which include Treasures from the House of Alba: 500 years of Art and Collecting, The Power of Pictures: Early Soviet Photography and Film, and Guido van der Werve: Nummers 2 6 8 14, all of which will open on February 5. American Sound and Beauty: Guitars from the Bachman-Gretsch Collection
On January 15, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will open a new exhibit titled American Sound and Beauty: Guitars from the Bachman-Gretsch Collection showcasing the largest exhibition of stringed instruments ever mounted by the museum. Read more from the press release.

Nashville Children’s Theatre presents Cinderella
Scot Copeland’s classic tale Cinderella will come to life at the Nashville Children’s Theatre January 14-February 7. nashvillechildrenstheatre.org

Cirque de la Symphonie with the Nashville Symphony
The Schermerhorn Symphony Center will host a special showing of Cirque de la Symphonie January 14-16 featuring contortionists, aerial flyers, strongmen, and more. nashvillesymphony.org

Sister Act The Musical
A production of the comedy Sister Act will take place January 15-31 at Tennessee State University’s Performing Arts Center. circleplayers.net
