It’s Who You Know 
Chambers Stevens will share the human side of our favorite celebrities during his one man show It’s Who You Know happening at TPAC January 7-9. tpac.org

Progressive Insurance Nashville Boat & Sportshow
The Music City Center will play host to Progressive Insurance Nashville Boat & Sportshow, from January 7th through the 10th, featuring the latest in marine gear, motors, electronics, tackle, and accessories. Read more.

Monster Jam

Closing Exhibits at the Frist and more
The Frist Center for the Visual Arts has four very exciting exhibits for guests to see and some of which end this weekend. The first is Ink, Silk, and Gold: Islamic Art from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston ending on January 10. The second, Shinique Smith: Wonder and Rainbows which will end on January 10. Third, Phantom Bodies: The Human Aura in Art lasting until February 7. And last, but certainly not least, Michelangelo: Sacred and Profane, Masterpiece Drawings from the Casa Buonarroti closing TOMORROW January 6. The Nashville Shakespeare Festival presents King Lear
The Nashville Shakespeare Festival next production will be King Lear occurring, January 8-31, at Belmont University’s Troutt Theater. nashvilleshakes.org

David Lusk Gallery
The David Lusk Gallery located in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood is opening two exhibits. Day Into Night by Veda Reed will be one, and Murders, Misfits and Other Unpleasantries by Beth Foley will be the other. Edley’s Bar-B-Que
Edley’s Bar-B-Que unites the Nashville tradition of meat & three restaurants with the best barbecue this side of the Mississippi. The fast casual eatery serves smoked pork, chicken, turkey, brisket, ribs, and wings, as well as fried shrimp and catfish sandwiches.
