Barcamp Nashville
BarCamp Nashville is a local gathering of developers, entrepreneurs, digital doers, and freelancers in Nashville. It is happening, on October 17, at Redpepper. barcampnashville.org

Bo Burnham at War Memorial Auditorium
Comedian Bo Burnham is performing at War Memorial Auditorium on October 19. wmarocks.com

Boo at the Zoo
The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere’s annual Halloween celebration kicks of this weekend. The Boo at the Zoo promises a night of trick-or-treating, carousel rides, hayrides, and more. The events will take place on select dates from October 16th through the 30th. nashvillezoo.org

David Spade at Zanies
Star of “Joe Dirt” and former Saturday Night Live cast member, David Spade, will perform live at Zanies Comedy Night Club on October 16th through the 17th. zaniesnashville.laughstub.com

The Belcourt Theatre will showcase many documentaries from new directors and masters of the genre during Doctober happening all October. belcourt.org

The Druid Underground Film Festival
The Druid Underground Film Festival will make its way to Music City on October 18. The event will feature the wildest movies from around the world and take place at Queen Ave Art Collection. druidundergroundfilmfestival.com

Fall Crush
Green Door Gourmet is hosting a special wine and food celebration called Fall Crush on October 18. Free Family Festival Day
On October 18, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts will offer their FREE Family Festival Day inviting families to enjoy art-making, live music, and exciting performances in celebration of their exhibit Ink, Silk and Gold: Islamic Art from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. fristcenter.org.

Masters of Illision
Families and friends will love to see the mysteries of magic during Masters of Illusion occurring at TPAC on October 18. tpac.org

Music with a Mission
Music with a Mission is a special evening of musical entertainment to benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission. This year will feature Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers, the Nashville Symphony, Jim Gray, and more. It takes place, October 18, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. nashvillesymphony.org

SoundHarvest Music Festival
The Flaming Lips, Allen Stone, The Weeks, and more will play the inaugural SoundHarvest Music Festival taking place at Centennial Park on October 17. soundharvest.com

Nashville Beer Festival
This year’s Nashville Beer Festival is occurring at East Park, October 17, featuring 100 craft beers for guests to try. Live music will also be played throughout the day. nashvillebeerfestival.com

Nashville Jewish Film Festival
The Belcourt Theatre will host the Nashville Jewish Film Festival October 13th through November 7th. Patrons of the festival may view entertaining and thought-provoking Jewish-themed films. nashvillejff.net

Nashville Print Crawl

Nashville Street Food Awards
The 4th annual Nashville Street Food Awards, presented by the Nashville Food Truck Association, will occur at the Nashville Farmers’ Market on October 17. foodtrucksnash.org

The Screwtape Letters
C.S. Lewis’ popular novel, The Screwtape Letters, comes to life with this funny theatrical adaptation starring Brent Harris happening October 15th through the 16th at TPAC. tpac.org

Tennessee Beer and Wine Festival

Tennessee History Festival

Tennessee State Pow Wow
The NAIA Tennessee State Pow Wow brings together Native Americans from across the nation and Canada to Nashville at Long Hunter State Park.
