Nashville’s 36th Annual Oktoberfest, occurring October 9-11, features traditional German music, food, and beer, in Historic Germantown.
BLOCK PARTY & KICKOFF PARADE
To get you in the spirit and this party started join the Christie Cookies‘ Block Party & Kickoff Parade happening October 9 at their Germantown location. It’s a full on celebration with beer, milk & cookies, and giveaways. Plus, there will be a parade that goes from the Block Party to Nashville Oktoberfest. Need we say more? Well, we will. While your stomach gets full with all the delectables, bob your head to the sweet sounds of bluegrass which will be played live throughout the day. Tickets are not required, but to ensure everyone gets a cookie they ask for you to RSVP.
Saturday, October 10 begins with The Nashville Oktoberfest 5K, running through beautiful Germantown, Bicentennial Mall, and the Nashville Farmers’ Market. All pre-registered racers receive a t-shirt and tasting of beer while supplies last. Register for the 5K.
Live music plays Friday-Sunday from the likes of Wyatt Turner Band, Preacher Stone, Jake Clayton Band, Kyle Wilson Band, James Carothers Band, and Doug Briney Band. Listen to music, eat some delicious food, drink German beer, check out the Tennessee arts and crafts, and play with little ones in the Kids Zone. There’s really something for everyone at Nashville Oktoberfest. Check out the full lineup.
General Admission is free and families are welcome. VIP tickets are also available, granting access to the VIP Tent, a commemorative Nashville Oktoberfest beer stein (with two free fills!), a free meal, and private bathrooms. Go VIP.
