Enjoy the tradition and tastes of Munich, Germany in the heart of Nashville. The Tennessee Volksfest features German food, beer, automobiles, a family fun zone, live music, and more. The festivities take place at the Nashville Farmers’ Market and they’re doing it on two different weekends (September 12-13, & 19-20). Also, the event is FREE and open to the public so there is no excuse on why you can’t go!
Franziskaner Weissbier, Hofbräuhaus München, and Spaten München will offer some amazing choices of bier for you to try which includes a wide range of dark and light. Then, Nashville’s own Riff’s Fine Street food truck will serve up a legit menu so you may eat like a real German in Music City.
And what’s a German festival without a showcase of German vehicles? It’s not one, is the correct answer. Both old school and new school German automobiles will be on display during the vintage Volkswagen car show. Stop on by to see these beautiful man-made creations.
Just off from the food and beverage area is where the kiddos can play. Large inflatables and games will keep them entertained for hours as you sip and taste your way through Munich.
Nashville based polka band, the Musik Meisters, will be dressed in their finest and ready to celebrate with you. The music starts at 11am, each day, and play every hour on the hour. Hear the beat, raise your glass, and let the good times flow.
