9th Annual Nashville Industry Music Awards – August 29
Some of Nashville’s top individuals in the music business will come together for a night of celebration, and to honor their peers during the 9th Annual Nashville Industry Music Awards occurring, August 29, at 3rd and Lindsley. nimadigital.com

Cirque Du Soleil: Varekai – August 26-30
Cirque Du Soleil will perform their latest touring production, Varekai, from August 26th through the 30th at Bridgestone Arena. bridgestonearena.com

Closing Exhibits – Nashville’s Art Scene
Many art galleries around town will be closing their current exhibits on August 29. Meaning this is the last weekend to see Elizabeth Winnell and Barrett Hedges at The Rymer Gallery, Cuba: Reconstructing Memories at Tinney Contemporary, Price is Right at David Lusk Gallery, Therely Bare Redux at Zeitgeist Gallery, and more. Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Exhibits – Opening & Closing
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s exhibit Flyin’ Saucers Rock & Roll: The Cosmic Genius of Sam Phillips opens August 28. The exhibit will explore the life and career of Sam Phillips, and the social and cultural impact of the music he created. You should go check out it and while you do make sure to stop by the Ronnie Milsap: A Legend In My Time exhibit because it closes September 7.

Craig Robinson – August 27-30
From the popular sitcom “The Office” and star of the movie “This Is The End”, Craig Robinson will perform Zanies Comedy Night Club August 27th through the 30th. zaniesnashville.laughstub.com

Frist Fridays – August 28
TONIGHT will be the last Frist Fridays of the season. The headliner is Those Darlins who will perform in the Frist Center for the Visual Arts’ Turner Courtyard. fristcenter.org

Goose Island Migration Week – August 25-28
Goose Island Beer Co. is traveling around the country. This week, they have been in Nashville and TONIGHT will be the last night of all the fun. You can find them 312 Pizza Company from 6-10pm. LOL Improv – August 28
LOL Nashville Improv Comedy group will play at The Basement on August 28. lolnashville.com

Music City Hot Air Balloon Festival – August 29
The first annual Music City Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place at Percy Warner Park, on August 29, featuring food trucks, live music, family fun, and more. musiccityballoonfestival.com

Nashville’s Largest Yard Sale – August 29
