Journey on over to Frothy Monkey and take part in their Beer Love Pairing Dinner featuring Black Abbey & Oscar Blues. It’s a five course dinner created by Frothy Monkey’s Chef Chase Ingalls, and Head Baker Jen Mellow.
Brew at the Zoo – May 29
The Nashville Zoo is brewing up a good time tonight. Join them for the annual Brew at the Zoo with 100 craft beers on tap, animals, live music, and local food trucks.
K-Love Fan Awards – May 29-31
Head on over to The Grand Ole Opry House for the 2015 K-Love Fan Awards. Three days of concerts, songwriters showcases, a fan zone, and more.
Music City Sports Festival – May 30-31
All weekend the Music City Center will host the Music City Sports Festival that is sure to impress any sports fan. There will be a tennis court, basketball court, track, in-line hockey area, and the Nashville Sounds wiffle ball field of dreams. Plus you gather around to hear from some of the best sports minds and influencers at the speaker stage. And the Nashville Predators will unveil the 2016 NHL All-Star Logo on Saturday at 12pm.
Nashville Ballet’s FREE Family Grand Opening Celebration – May 30
The Nashville Ballet is inviting everyone to see its newly renovated and expanded facility during Free Family Fun Day. There will be food, fun activities, prizes and more.
Nashville Sounds – May 29-31
After a long away stretch the Nashville Sounds return home to play against the Las Vegas 51s. Go check it out and enjoy that nice shiny new stadium.
Newsies – May 26-31
TPAC is showcasing the smash-hit, crowd-pleasing new musical from Disney called Newsies. And the Tennessee State Museum even has an exhibit that dives into the history of newspaper printing, called Newsies A Tennessee Special Edition, to go along with the show. So, check it out before or after you see the musical.
PurpleStride Nashville – May 30
Public Square Park is the starting line for the PurpleStride Nashville 5K Run & Family-Friendly Walk. The event goes to raise awareness and funds that advance research and support patients.
Rickey Smiley & Friends – May 30
If you are looking for a laugh check out comedian Rickey Smiley who’s performing with his friends at the Ryman Auditorium.
Statehood Day and Vintage Baseball Games – May 31
How does FREE cake and lemonade sound? Well head on over to Bicentennial State Park for Statehood Day. Two vintage baseball games will take place while you enjoy the delicious free cake and lemonade that is first come, first serve. It’s all in honor of Tennessee’s 219th birthday.
Dawg House Saloon
Over on Demonbreun Hill is a happening joint known as Dawg House Saloon. It’s got plenty of bar space, and a patio that’s perfect for people watching. You can even bring out the cornhole boards and play a game or two. Their hotdogs are pretty amazing including the Mac n Cheese Dog.
