11th Annual Tour De Nash – May 16
It’s time for Nashville’s largest urban bike ride! The Tour de Nash provides bicyclists of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to check out Music City’s gorgeous greenways. Each person has the option of joining the 9, 30, or 60 mile routes that offer a great ride & beautiful view.

Capitol District Street Fair – May 16
Morgan Park is home to the Capitol District Street Fair which brings together the Germantown, Salemtown, Hope Gardens, and Buena Vista neighborhoods of Nashville for a full day of music, food, and fun.

Goodguys 10th Nashville Nationals – May 15-17
This giant car show features more than 1,500 hot rods, customs, classics, muscle cars, and trick trucks. Shop at hundreds of vendor/exhibitor booths or take a trip to the Swap Meet and Cars for Sale Corral. There’s a Street Challenge AutoCross. The Super Sunday Get-Together invites you to see or bring your late model American-made or American-powered car to show off to the masses.

Nashville Wine and Food Festival – May 16
Get ready for Nashville Wine & Food Festival celebrating wines paired with Music City’s own local chefs & cuisine along with some great live music at Riverfront Park. The festival will feature winemakers from around the world. Everyone will have the opportunity to talk with the creators of both wine and food, learn from them, and enjoy the delights of the pairings.

Help Rebuild Nepal Benefit Concert ft. Keb’ Mo’ – May 16
Keb’ Mo’, Jack Pearson, Phil Keaggy, John Oates, and other special guests will perform a special Help Rebuild Nepal Benefit Concert at City Winery Nashville. 100% off ALL net profits from tickets sales will go to benefit the RPM’s “When Disaster Strikes” Fund.

Margarita Festival – May 16
Have yourself a great drink during the annual Margarita Festival in The Gulch. Patrons to this event are offered 15 margarita samples from popular Nashville restaurants while QDP DJs provide the tunes for the day. Cantina Laredo and Party Fowl will be there to serve delightful cuisine if you get hungry.

Meat Ya in the Park – May 17
Everyone is welcome out for the backyard-style community barbecue event called Meat Ya in the Park at East Park. Guests to the event will enjoy sample bites from Hoss Burgers, Local Taco, Puckett’s and more. The event does have items for vegetarians as well.

Nashville Ballet present Emergence – May 14 & 16
Go experience Nashville Ballet presents Emergence at the Martin Center. The production will feature a collaboration with the Fisk Jubilee Singers, Matthew Perryman Jones, and the Nashville Opera. And if you need more details just look at our post from the other day.

Nashville Walk to Cure Arthritis – May 16
Centennial Park will be the starting line for the Walk to Cure Arthritis this weekend in Music City.

Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally, Summer of 69: No Apostrophe – May 15
The Ryman Auditorium Auditorium will play host to Nick Offerman (“Parks and Recreation”), and Megan Mullally (“Will & Grace”) comedy show Summer of 69: No Apostrophe. It’s going to be a great night of laughs as this power couple reveals the salacious details of their union for all the world to see.

River Reprise – May 17
You may join the Nashville Repertory Theatre for River Reprise as they celebrate 30 years of professional theatre. The event will feature a special Q & A with Eddie George, honor long-time Nashville Rep actor David Alford, and toast the Ingram New Works Playwrights for their work during the New Works Project & Festival.

Trisha Brown Dance Company at Oz – May 14 & 16
Trisha Brown Dance Company will perform two unique programs at Oz Arts Nashville. The first, on May 14, features multiple iconic works created for the proscenium theatre. Then, on May 16, the show employs the manicured grounds of OZ for a series of Brown’s “Early Works” then moves into the Grand Salon.

Yoga Buzz Launch Party – May 17
This Sunday, Acme Feed & Seed will start up Yoga Buzz with a Launch Party that includes a special complimentary 90 minute class followed by drinks and snacks. The regular series is every Friday at 4pm and Saturday & Sunday at 10am.
