Grab your fanciest hat and get ready for Music City’s traditional rite of spring, the Iroquois Steeplechase! On May 9, over 25,000 spectators, decked out in their finest spring wardrobe, will enjoy seven races held throughout the day. This year marks the 74th running, and it seems to get better each year without ruining any of the tradition. Also, since 1981, the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt has been the official charity of Iroquois Steeplechase and has received more than $10 million from the event proceeds. It’s a fantastic spring time event and one of the 13 Things You Have to Check Out This Spring via the Nashville Convention and Visitor Corp. All the fun takes place at Percy Warner Park and we hope to see you there! In your best attire, of course.
You can choose between a ton of ticketing options including Tailgating, General Admission, Tents in the Turn (private patio area), Individual Tailgating, Family Area, Skybox Suites, and more. (See the more.) For more information about the event check out: visitmusiccity.com/steeplechase.
