11. Nashville Film Festival

For the next ten days Music City will be known as Movie City thanks to the Nashville Film Festival. Haven’t heard about it? Well, every year people from all over the world come to view more than 280 films from 55 countries at Regal Green Hills Cinema during this amazing festival in Nashville. It’s actually one of the longest-running film festivals in the country. This year, from April 16th through the 25th, you can see narrative features, experimental shorts, documentaries, comedies, tragedies, horror films, and so much more (see full schedule of featured filmsfilmfest12_415x272 (1)). PLUS there’s fancy red carpet events to attend, award shows, conferences, panels, workshops, and even a free day. So, purchase your tickets, grab some popcorn and get ready to settle in for some outstanding movies, and fun, in Music City. No! We meant Movie City. 

Full Schedule of the Nashville Film Festival:

April 16 – Festival Opens. Red Carpet @ 5pm. Opening Night Party @ 8-11pm.

April 17 – Red Carpet @ 5pm.

April 18 – Red Carpet @ 5pm.

April 20 – Bridgestone Free Film Day (reservations required).

April 22 – Fashion Night on the Red Carpet @ 5pm.

April 23 – International Dignitaries on the Red Carpet @ 5pm.

April 24 – Screenwriter’s Conference, and Awards. Closing Night Party @ 8pm.

April 25: Best of Fest Films. Watch the Audience Award Winners All Day @ 10am-10pm.

The Nashville Film Festival occurs every year in Nashville and is another reason why April is called Awesome April in Music City.
