195. Tater Tot Nachos @ The Flipside

The Flipside is a fun, local restaurant located in 12South neighborhood. From the decor to the food this place has a style of its own. 1950s memorabilia line the walls while groovy tunes fill the air. The menu focus on something called “Jack’s Chicken” which is chicken breast pounded thin, seasoned bread crumbs, and then pan sauteed in extra virgin olive oil. You can select from over 15 different Jack’s Chicken styles. We’re talking about the Curveball (chili, cheddar, onion), the Brunch (fried eggs, bacon, cheddar), and a sweet little thing called the Phucket (peanut butter, siriracha, Thai basil slaw). Another thing they serve is the Tater Tot Nachos. Sweet delectable tots covered in melted cheese then topped with bacon, avacado, jalapenos, tomatoes, and green onions. It’s the perfect starter for groups, or for your meal! That’s what we did, and we have no regrets.

Their menu features something they call Jack’s Chicken and they serve it in 15 different ways. Pretty much it’s a chicken breast pounded thin with seasoned bread crumbs and then pan sautéed in extra virgin olive oil. One of our favorites is the Popeye served with spinach, tomato, mozzarella, and balsamic drizzle. AND don’t forget to order their amazing wonderful Tater Tot Nachos. You won’t regret it. Go check it out and make sure to tell us what you think on Twitter. […]
