Either I’m blind, or you’ve made it to 159 already w/o mentioning the Family Wash(?)

  2. Brian

Have you all checked out Nadeau in Green Hills? Great furniture store at amazing prices! Handmade, hard wood furniture from India and Indonesia including great looking new painted furniture as well! Their selection is always changing and there is always something new for everyone!

  3. Please check out Homestead Manor Plantation. A restaurant in an antebellum mansion built between 1809 and 1819. The site of the civil war Battle of Thompson’s Station, March 5, 1863. Lunch and tea are served Tuesday-Saturday 11-3 and dinner Friday and Saturday 6-9.

  4. There were over 5,000 folks on the grounds of Homestead Manor Plantation celebrating the first annual Sweet Tea Festival. We’ll celebrate each year on the last Saturday of August (August 27, 2011). Music, food, corn hole, vendors, arts and crafts, petting zoo, inflatables, Miss Sweet Tea Pageant, Sweet Tea competition, Antique Car Show and free to the public. Incredibly fun day for all ages.

glad to see Donut Den and McKays made it on here, those would’ve been what I’d have suggested! The den has the best freaking donuts in all of Nashville, and McKays—well, let’s just say that I have a little less spending money in my wallet and a few more books & games in my collection since they opened! ;)

Oh, and here’s an October idea: trick-or-treating in Franklin Square. It’s a tradition! :)

  7. Here’s one you ought to check out—- Nashville’s #1 “underground” sports treasure— the Nashville Storm Football Team, who came within a last-second field goal of bringing Nashville a national football championship last year and are 11-0 this year.

This is amateur football, but there’s nothing “amateurish” or “recreational” about the Nashville Storm’s players, about 2/3 of whom are former college football players, and a few of whom have played professionally. And the price to watch them is cheap— $8.00 for adults, and all kids under 15 get in free.

As long as the Storm keep winning, they’ll be playing tonight (October 9), October 16, and October 23 at Stratford High School (1800 Stratford Avenue, Nashville, TN 37216) in national playoff competition. All games kick off at 7 PM on saturday nights.

The Nashville Storm’s official website is at http://www.nashvillestormonline.com .

Could you help us?? I am sure you know families who could use a home make over :)

Major Cable Network now casting for a HOME DESIGN MAKEOVER SHOW in Nashville.. Participants will receive up to thousands of dollars worth of new décor and furniture!

We are looking for families where one person has an eccentric decorating sense, but their spouse, kids, or friends are “not that into it.” Our expert designers will come in and put together a fresh interior with a new look that makes EVERYONE happy.

Have mom’s collectables “taken-over” the living room?

Is dad’s old-west theme making the kids feel like they come home to a saloon?

Does a patriotic American flag motif have everyone dizzy with stars and stripes?

If this your family, or a family you know of, we would love to hear from you!I

Also, if you would like to anonymous nominate someone that would be more then helpful :)

Please send the following information to designrescuecasting@gmail.com:

    1. Your name, phone number and email

    2. The name and phone number of the person you would like to nominate

    3. Describe the décor of the home and attach pictures if available

For questions, please call 323-308-2500. Time is running out, so please submit AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
