This is huge. Caleb and Nathan Followill of Kings of Leon, Chef Jonathan Waxman, C3 Presents, Ken Levitan, and Andy Mendelsohn dreamed this up. And it makes sense. Nashville. Food. Music. Of course! So, the event is September 21 and 22 in Nashville. The biggest and best chefs from around the country are coming to Nashville to join some of our biggest and best chefs of the area to cook, demo, talk, sign, and eat at Music City Eats: Nashville Food, Wine and Spirits Festival. So, there’s the Flavors of Nashville. It’s both days – a “grand tasting experience” featuring top local chefs and food world superstars. Meet them and eat their food.
There are demos and panels. Some of the chefs listed above are talking about barbecue, dessert, lobster, spirits, and more.
There are book signings. Trisha Yearwood, Giada De Laurentiis, Jonathan Waxman, Nancy Silverton, Aaron Sanchez, Tim Love, Michael Symon, John Besh, and others are signing their books for you.
There’s Harvest Night. John Besh, John Currence, Edward Lee, Donald Link, Tim Love, Aaron Sanchez, Nancy Silverton, Jon Shook & Vinny Dotolo, Michael Symon, Jonathan Waxman, and Trisha Yearwood are cooking up a crazy meal using local ingredients, paired with wines by Rodney Strong, cocktails by Jameson, Blue Chair Bay Rum, and Deep Eddy Vodka, and beers from Blue Moon.
And there’s Petty Fest. The music. It’s a celebration of the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Kings of Leon and the Cabin Down Below Band are hosting. Along with Kings of Leon, Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell, Norah Jones, Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, Jakob Dylan, Buddy Miller, Erika Wennerstrom of Heartless Bastards, Butch Walker, Cory Chisel & Adriel Denae, The Whigs, Cyle Barnes & Samuel Williams of The Weeks, Ruby Amanfu and many more will be there, too.
