44.3. Bravo Gelato


mmmmmmmm…….gelaaaaaaaatoooooooo. Bravo Gelato is a local gelato maker. They use local ingredients as much as possible, including Hatcher Dairy buttermilk, Olive & Sinclair chocolates, Ed Johnson honey, Jack Daniel’s whiskey, Yazoo beer, and local fruit as it’s in season. That all sounds quite delicious. And it is. Oh, so many flavors. You can get traditional flavors like chocolate, pistachio, Spumoni, vanilla, espresso. But they like to play with flavors a bit. So, you can also get Cayenne Choco Chip, Roasted Garlic Vanilla, Hazelnut Cappuccino, Brown Sugar Roasted Apple, Maple w/Benton’s Bacon, Honey Roasted Fig, Banana Cardamom, Cinnamon Bourbon, Salty Caramel, Avocado, Strawberry Balsamic, and Olive Oil Basil. Go with what you know. Or go big and go uncharted. It’s all good. Really. Be adventurous with your gelato. Bravo Gelato is! They have four locations: Gaylord Opryland, The Mall at Green Hills, Village Green Shopping Center, and Maryland Farms. And lots of restaurants in town carry their goodness on the dessert menu.

  2. This place is pretty awesome. I love their olive oil basil gelato, such a unique and rich taste.
