The Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is located on the northern side of the Tennessee State Capitol in downtown Nashville. And on the northern end of the park, near Jefferson Street, is the 95-bell carillon. The carillon represents Tennessee’s musical heritage and the citizens of Tennessee’s 95 counties. At the top of the hour, every hour, they play Tennessee-themed songs. The 96th bell, located on the grounds of the State Capitol, rings in answer to the 95 bells, to symbolize government answering to the people.

Wow, great post! That picture at the top reminds me of a picture I saw of the bell – west broadway mall a while ago when I was in Canada! Your trip seemed to be a blast!
