Every summer, bluegrass greats play the very stage where bluegrass was born – the Ryman Auditorium. On Thursday nights between June 21 and July 26, the Springer Mountain Farms Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman features the best in the business playing the best venue in the world. And the show celebrates an anniversary today! Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman debuted on June 14, 1994 with Bill Monroe and Alison Krauss. Seriously. And it’s still alive and pickin’ today!
All shows start at 7:30pm on Thursday and all tickets are $26.50 (and every seat in the house is an amazing one!). Come out early for Pickin’ on the Plaza (this part’s free), starting at 5:30pm, with free live music and Puckett Grocery’s Trolley Parton serving Southern favorites (including Springer Mountain Farms chicken, of course).
