Soccer in Nashville, you say? YES! Each time pro-soccer plays in Nashville, we break attendance records from the previous appearance. Nashville has seen exhibition games and Olympic-qualifying matches play at LP Field. This time, we’re getting the CONCACAF U-23 Championship, qualifying for the 2012 London Olympic Games! The US, Canada, El Salvador and Cuba are playing six games over three days this March.
Thursday, March 22: El Salvador vs. Canada @ 5:30pm and USA vs. Cuba @ 8pm
Saturday, March 24: Cuba vs. El Salvador @ 3:30pm and USA vs. Canada @ 6pm
Monday, March 26: Canada vs. Cuba at 5:30pm and USA vs. El Salvador @ 8pm
The teams with the two best records advance to the semifinals in Kansas City.
