The first bottle of George Dickel Tennessee Whisky was made here in 1870 using the pure water from Cascade Springs that flows through Cascade Hollow. Tours of the distillery are offered Tuesday-Saturday. Guests get to see how they make the spirits from a sour mash of corn, barley and rye. All tours are free.
