The mansion and grounds are decorated for the holidays and they have a calendar full of activities and special events. If you haven’t seen Cheekwood, the holiday season is definitely a good time to try it out. There are Holiday Afternoon Teas, concerts and all of the lovely exhibits and collections in the mansion and art museum. There are workshops where you can make gingerbread houses and wreaths or decorate cookies and tables. Santa is there on Saturdays (when he’s on a break from the North Pole) from 10am-2pm so you can visit his workshop and have your picture taken with him. There’s also Martinis & Mistletoe and The Angel Gala for the night crowd. Cheekwood really is a lovely place to visit during the holidays, whether you have children, grandparents or a date to go with you.
