They turned almost 2,000,000 lights on at Gaylord Opryland Resort a few days ago. That’s 2 MILLION lights. It’s pretty ridiculous and amazing. People come from all over the world to see this display. Lights are in the trees, on poles, on the building – everywhere! It’s like stepping into a Lite-Brite. And the decorations inside are incredible. Seeing the lights at Gaylord Opryland is definitely a holiday tradition in Nashville. And it’s always more impressive than you think it’s going to be. It will absolutely get you in the spirit of the season. They turn the lights on near sundown, at 4pm, and turn them off at 11pm during the week and off at 2am on the weekend. There are lots of things to do during the holidays at Gaylord Opryland so you can warm up inside once you’ve gotten a good look at the outside.
