211.2. Cooter’s Place

Ahhh, the days of laying in front of the TV intently watching those Duke Boys just to see what kind of trouble they get into next. Boss Hogg, Uncle Jesse, Daisy, Cooter, The General Lee! If you still get a little excited to see “The Dukes of Hazzard” reruns on TV, then you should stop by Cooter’s Place. THE Cooter – Ben Jones – is the owner of Cooter’s Place. There are pictures, props, costumes and memorabilia from the show. And what would a “Dukes of Hazzard” museum be without cars?! He has Cooter’s Two Truck, Daisy’s Jeep, Rosco’s Patrol Car and a General Lee all on display. It’s free to explore. But there is also a store for those Dukes souvenirs you just can’t live without.
