The Nashville Music Garden is a 27,000-square-foot garden in Music City Walk of Fame Park in downtown Nashville. Pat Bullard, a LifeWorks Foundation Trustee, discovered that there were more than three dozen roses named for Nashville artists, songs and industry leaders but no one had ever brought them together in one garden for public view – and so was born the Nashville Music Garden. Now featuring more than six dozen roses and daylilies, the garden welcomes guests to view roses named for Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Little Jimmy Dickens, Amy Grant, Minnie Pearl and the Grand Ole Opry and many more. The Garden isĀ free and open for viewing anytime.
The Nashville Music Garden celebrates their second anniversary with a special ice cream social on Thursday, September 29, from 12-2pm. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams will be there with treats and the Spirit of Nashville will unveil a new commemorative illustration of the garden.
