191.2. International Lens


Vanderbilt University hosts the International Lens series each year. Films from all over the world are presented and discussed in a comfortable and open atmosphere. Each film is chosen for its global perspective and impact. The series aims to use cinema to transcend geographic, ethnic, religious, linguistic and political boundaries by encouraging discussion and greater cross-cultural understanding among people from all walks of life. This season’s lineup comes from China, the U.S., France, Germany, India and many other countries. Admission is completely free and open to the public. Whether you’re there to watch a new and interesting film or to talk about your feelings on it, International Lens is open to all.
