184.2. Tour the Ryman

You may have heard of the Ryman Auditorium, one of the best places in the world to hear live music, a National Historic Landmark, a venue for the Grand Ole Opry and a Music City mainstay. Open for tours everyday 9am-4pm, guests are invited inside the legendary music hall to learn about its rich history going back to 1892. See pictures of all the incredible performers that have graced that stage, sit in the pews (it used to be a church, after all), see video and pictures, have a photo taken of you on center stage and hear the amazing acoustics that have made this venue so appealing to artists and fans around the world. You can take a self-guided tour or a backstage tour on which you can see dressing rooms and the famous Ryman Alley where the stars used to cross over to get to the honky-tonks before & after shows. Whether you live here or are just visiting, a Ryman tour will definitely open your eyes to a new Nashville.
