The popular concert series is back! Live on the Green offers great live music on the beautiful Public Square every Thursday night, September 8-October 13, 2011. It’s free. It’s outdoors. And it’s environmentally-friendly! Recycling centers are set up around the event. There’s a free bike check. All merch for sale is made from eco-friendly materials. And the location of the event, Public Square Park, is actually a 2.25-acre green roof to an underground parking garage! The free concert series brings together community, music and awareness in one awesome night out. Will Hoge, the Nashville Symphony, Los Lonely Boys, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Edwin McCain, Ten Out of Tenn and Here Come the Mummies are just a handful of performers in the lineup this season.
