The Nashville Public Library has been hosting weekly marionette shows at the downtown location for more than 60 years. Wishing Chair Productions is the library’s puppet troupe and produces sophisticated puppetry storytelling through different shows throughout the year – some well-known favorites as well as original programs. They immerse children of every age, from 1 to 100. The Library’s Tichenor Marionettes, Peeko Puppets and Wood and Strings Puppets can all be seen making appearances in these shows. Check the website for schedule.
