The annual festival celebrates two of Nashville’s biggest claims to fame – music and bbq. The BBQ Competition is sanctioned by the Memphis BBQ Network and Kansas City Barbeque Society with a total of $20,000 in prizes and awards given to winners in various categories. In addition to the competition, hungry festival-goers will have a selection of Nashville’s best BBQ vendors on site. The Music City Car Show is on Saturday, showing more than 100 cards from every decade. And, of course, there’s live music – on three stages headlined by The Marshall Tucker Band on Friday and Ronnie Milsap on Saturday.
