The Dragon Boat & River Festival happens this Saturday, August 20. The event kicks off at 8am with the “open the eye of the dragon” dance performed by the Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville. Races begin at 8:30am. More than 800 paddlers and 5,000 spectators are expected for this year’s festival. In addition to the Dragonboat Races running all day, guests can enjoy Dragon Land to bounce on inflatables, get their faces painted, meet Seaweed the Serpent and more.
