Chef Jeremy Barlow’s menu is rich with fresh, sustainable ingredients composing his “playful american food”. Tayst is the first and only green-certified restaurant in Nashville. The menu changes with the season as ingredients are sourced from local farmers and growers (a list of the day’s farmers is written on a chalkboard inside the door). It offers a real taste of Tennessee, in a beautifully delicious way. Barlow’s food is so good, the James Beard House has invited him to cook for them in NYC. We’re lucky enough to enjoy it in Music City.
