Historic downtown Franklin is another great place to visit for the 4th of July. Starting at 10am on Monday, July 4th, the downtown Franklin area will be buzzing with children’s activities, antique cars and trucks, various vendors in addition to the regular stores, plenty of food and live music. the children’s activities include a Children’s Patriotic Costume Parade (registration starts at 3pm and the parade starts at 4pm), inflatable fun, rock climbing wall, petting zoo, bungee jump and pony rides. There will also be a fireworks show around 9:00pm.
