With the economy still in recovery, many cities either scraped or downsized their independence day festivities. Not Nashville. People from all over the region will be hitting up Nashville to partake in the July 4th weekend fun which includes 2 days of live music and fireworks. On Sunday, July 3rd, the “Prelude to the 4th” will start at noon with a free family fun zone, booths, samples and interactive exhibits. At 6pm that night, the live music begins with a lineup of Port Chuck, Lighter Ray and the Dirty Guv’Nahs. The evening will end in a fireworks show.
The 4th will also be a day of free fun, starting at noon downtown with the family fun zone (which includes a rock climbing wall), more vendors, booths, live music and of course, fireworks! Live music will feature performances by the Willis Clan, The Cleverlys, the Dirty Guv’Nahs, Street Corner Symphony, Darius Rucker and the Nashville Symphony. This year’s fireworks show is rumored to be the biggest yet.
