A cool store to check out in town is Third Man Records, famously known because its owner is Jack White of the Whites Stripes and new Nashville-dweller. Located in a somewhat sketchy part of town, the building holds a store, a recording studio, rehearsal stage, photo studio and darkroom. The store is tiny and sells mostly vinyl records but also has posters, stickers, music paraphernalia and more, all at reasonable prices. They also hold the occasional concert here too.
Third Man Records will also be on the Colbert Report this week in a series of segments that start today.
