Show Mother Earth a little love this Saturday (April 23rd) at the 10th Annual Nashville Earth Day Festival. From 11am to 7pm, the festival will celebrate the environment and will promote making Nashville the greenest city in the Southeast. There will be booths set up throughout the park displaying all sorts of environmentally-friendly companies and products. In addition to the booths, there will be special tents with speakers and demonstrations. Grab lunch at one of the many food stands and enjoy free live music all day. Bring the kiddies along for the children’s activities like a scavenger hunt, music, dance, learning areas and more.

………..The 28th Annual Fall Festival will again bring dozens of craft vendors to downtown Nashville Illinois on the weekend of September 26-28 2008. More than 100 craft and food booths will be set up and doing brisk…… Saturday Bobs Your Uncle is at 4pm followed by The Ultraviolets at 8pm and Sunday Los Ruedas featuring Robert Barboza performs at 11 30am.Other scheduled main stage events include performances by students of Sonyas Gotta Dance demonstrations by students of Jamies Tumbling a Guitar Hero Contest and there will be Sunday afternoon Bingo at 2pm.Another highlight is the annual Childrens Pet Parade at 10am Saturday with registration beginning at 9am.
