In an effort to help Nashvillians become healthier, the Mayor has started the “Walk 100 Miles” program. The programs simply encourages you to walk 100 miles over the course of this spring and summer in Nashville’s parks and greenways. You can walk on your own or join Mayor Karl Dean on any of 28 scheduled walks. You can log your miles in at www. walk100miles.com and if you reach the 100-mile goal, a celebration concert will be held downtown on Saturday, July 9. This program is completely free and is a great way to improve your health as well as explore the beautiful parks and greenways Nashville has to offer.
Here’s the schedule of upcoming walks with the Mayor.
