As the weather warms up (hallelujah!), the search for a yummy cool treat begins. One of the best is Izzie’s Italian ice, a non-dairy frozen dessert made with fruit. Besides being delicious, the best part about Izzie’s Ice is that they use absolutely no artificial ingredients. Some of the flavors they’ve offered in the past are watermelon, kiwi, lime, lemon, orange, pineapple, raspberry, strawberry and that’s just a short list. It’s also affordable at $2 for a small and $3 for a large. They’ve recently moved to a new location on 14th and Woodland between Lipstick Lounge and Holly Day Care.
