Dyer Observatory sits on top of one Nashville’s tallest peaks, making it perfect for exploring outer space. The Observatory first opened in 1953 and has been wowing ever since. The season is now open for visitors with weekly free Open Houses and Open House Telescope Nights where you can list to guest lectures and use the telescopes to catch a glimpse of the rings of Saturn and maybe the craters of the Moon. There are several other events throughout the year like speakers, tours, summer camps for kids, music performances and more. For the schedule, go here.
