Warning: this friend chicken is not for the weak stomach. Prince’s has become quite the Nashville celebrity having been featured on several best fried chicken lists and a couple of tv shows. Located in an aptly-named shack in North Nashville, Prince’s serves freshly cooked fried chicken in a several levels of heat: mild, medium, hot and extra hot. Each order is served on a couple of pieces of white bread and pickles. There are also sides to choose from like baked beans and potato salad. Lines can get long because they cook to order, so be prepared to wait. They also do take out.
