Though Maggiano’s is a national chain restaurant, it’s one of my favorite Italian places in town. Sitting up on a hill off West End, Maggiano’s can be a bit pricey but it’s totally worth every cent. I recommend bringing parties of at least 4 so that you can participate in the family-style menu. My favorites are the Crispy Zucchini Fritté, Calamari Fritté, Chopped Salad, Gnocchi and Tiramisu to name a few. Reservations are recommended because there can be a bit of a line sometimes.
