The holiday season is a time for being with friends and family and for doing fun things together! I’ve complied a list of fun ideas for this holiday season.
Have a Party!
Call, text or send an evite to your favorite people for a fun gathering. My favorite holiday party is the wacky, tacky Christmas sweater party. Head over to Salvation army or dig through your closet for the tackiest sweater you’ve hidden in the back for such a special occasion. You know you’ve got one! It’s always fun to see how creative everyone gets about this costume too. Another party idea is a cookie swap. Bake up your favorite holiday treat and bring a plate full (enough for at least one per person). Bring a baggie or tupperware and grab up a sampling of yummy goodies. (Sometimes people make copies of the recipe for people to take along with a sample.)
Get Creative
Break out the scissors and glue! Try making a garland for your tree using construction paper and glue or make bird treats using pine cones, string, peanut butter and bird seed. Bake up a batch of sugar cookies or gingerbread men and go to town with different colored sugars and icing. And as the days get chillier, sit down with a steaming cup of hot chocolate.
