Gaylord Opryland Resorts opens its doors after being flooded in May of this year just in time for A Country Christmas 2010. This annual event runs from November 19 through January 2nd. (The hotel reopens officially on November 15th.) Festivities include the Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes, ICE! featuring Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town, millions of christmas lights throughout the grounds and in the hotel, and Louise Mandrell’s “The Gift” Christmas Dinner & Show. The newest addition to A Country Christmas is SNOW!, an outdoor wonderland made of real snow. There’s live reindeer, a snow maze, a snowball throwing range and more.
