Another amazing exhibit will be opening its doors at the Frist Center of Visual Arts this Friday, October 15th. The Birth of Impressionism is a collection of some of the most well-known and beautiful French impressionist works from mid-to-late 19th century. These pieces, hailing from the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, will be visiting only 2 US cities including Nashville and San Francisco. See works by Manet, Cézanne, Degas, Monet, Renoir, Whistler and more. The exhibit will run October 15 through January 23, 2011.
