After a day of shopping at the antique and thrift stores of the 8th Avenue South area, stop in at FiddleCakes. It’s a bakery, cafe and coffee shop all in one. They have delicious cookies (my favorite is the pumpkin chocolate chip) as well as soups, sandwiches, muffins, cakes, scones, quiches, salads and even treats for your puppy. One of the interesting offerings of this place is their selection of vegan and gluten-free items.
You can sit inside and utilize the free Wi-Fi or eat at the picnic tables outside. There are also a small selection of gifts and party supplies to peruse inside.
