197. 2010 Tennessee State Fair

The Tennessee State Fair has been running for 104 years but this year brings a “fresh start.” This year’s fair, running September 10-19, welcomes fun activities like the traditional rides and games, demolition derby, musical performances, contests, lots of food and a lot of fun activities. Contests include pie eating, egg toss, soccer juggling, karaoke and more. Make sure to check out the promotional days section of their website with info on discounted or free admission days.

Admission ranges from $4 to $8, plus additional costs for ride wristbands, CMX Tour and Demolition Derby. Children ages 2 and under are free. Parking is free.
