Football season has arrived and with it comes the tailgate parties! Not only does this party mark the beginning of SEC college football, it’s also benefitting a great cause, the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. On Thursday, September 2 from 5-9pm, Pine Street between the Icon and Velocity apartment buildings in the Gulch will be closed off for the viewing party of the game between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles.
Each person in attendance will receive a complimentary beverage from Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Sweet Water Ale as well as samples from the restaurants in the Gulch area. There will also be cash bars on site and live music all night. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
